X-Ray: See the Facts Hiding in Your Search Data

feature

X-Ray

A new page for Pro properties at /xray. Ten factual sections, each with a chart, organized into four categories:

Traffic: Branded vs non-branded click split. How much of your traffic comes from people searching your name vs finding you organically.

Geography: Country distribution by clicks, and CTR by country. One user discovered 48% of their traffic was branded and their US CTR was 0.18% while India converted at 3.4%. Facts that were always in GSC but never surfaced.

Search visibility: How many queries rank in positions 1-3, 4-10, 11-20, and 21+. Your actual CTR per bracket compared to industry benchmarks.

Content: Click concentration (top 3 pages drive X% of all traffic), content coverage (how many pages actually get clicks), and content gaps (pages with high impressions but zero clicks).

Each section shows a headline fact, a Chart.js visual, and supporting data. Sections with insufficient data hide automatically, so small properties see whatever facts their data supports.

Shareable Snapshots

Click “Share” on the X-Ray page to generate a public link. The data is frozen at creation time. Anyone with the link can view it without logging in. Expires after 30 days.

Useful for sharing performance reports with clients or teammates who don’t have SerpDelta accounts.

Dashboard Enrichment

The dashboard pulse section now shows two new lines below the click/impression summary:

  • Device split: Mobile 67% / Desktop 30% / Tablet 3%
  • Top countries: IND 19% / PAK 16% / IDN 13%

This data was already being synced from GSC but never displayed. Zero new API calls.

Digest Enrichment

The weekly digest page now renders search appearance data (FAQ, Video, Rich Result tags), Discover traffic totals, and device breakdown with change percentages. All of this was already being passed to the view but never shown.
